TICCの英語行事案内

TICC Conversational English Class - Elementary Course

You will learn how to explain the highlights of Ueno Park to a foreign visitor and have a chance to show a foreigner around Ueno Park in English after finishing the course.

Instructor: Professor Papion

The lessons

Date: Every Friday from May 16th to July 11th 2008 except June 27th

Time: 6:30 PM-8:30 PM

Place: Tokyo, Taito City Hall, 10F Meeting Room

The demonstration

Date: Saturday, July 12th 2008

Time: 2:00 PM-4:00 PM

Meeting Place and Time:

In front of the bronze statue of Saigo Takamori in Ueno Park at 1:50 PM

Cost: TICC member: 3000 Yen

Non- member: 5000 Yen inclusive of TICC annual membership fee
(Student and Foreigner 4000 Yen)

*The cost includes materials needed for the study

Seats: 30 by random selection

Please send a double-postcard(Ofuku Hagaki) with your name, address, telephone number, age and sex to the Conversational English Class at the following TICC Office by Friday, April 25th 2008(postmarked). A current TICC member should write TICC MEMBER in red on the postcard.

Please submit by snail mail or email a completed manuscript up to 2000 words (five sheets of manuscript paper for four hundred characters) with your application containing

④ nationality.

* Your manuscript will not be returned to you.

* Selection will be based upon application forms

     in case we have a lot of applicants.
